Thanks for the (maybe undeserved) credit! I didn't attend, but I heard that Sakamoto was also an inspiring presence at the Peace on Earth rally held in Tokyo on Sunday (3/11).
We wouldn't have seen this (and much more we like and love) if we didn't follow your blog. I was introduced to Sakamoto's eco-inspired works at a restaurant/art space in Kyoto called the TranqRoom (http://home.att.ne.jp/sun/tranqroom/trr_frame.html). But haven't followed him. Jen Teeter (co-blogger who lives in Kyoto, but still has strong ties to Tokyo as a former Peace Boater) spoke at the rally. If I weren't tired, I would post on the Hibiya event now. I'm going to change the order of the posts so her post on the Rhymer in Ishinomaki is at the top of our 3/11 posts. Kim (other co-blogger is in Tohoku thsi weekend).
